New Year. New Win. Same Energy. ✨

Our first league game of 2026 kicked off in typical January weather, the rain tried it, but it didn't dampen our energy. From the first whistle, the girls came out all guns blazing. The pressing on the wings was non-stop, with Beth and Amy causing absolute chaos and giving the opposition zero peace😮‍💨.

Set pieces? Tash and Elle were on another level, showing their quality and delivering THREE goals scored directly from free kicks, with another header and tap in scored by Tash created from corners. At the back, Carly and Rona making important tackles and consistently shutting things down all game. Our midfielder Bri was everywhere, breaking up play, driving us forward, and just being an absolute engine. So glad to have her back in the team 🏃‍♀️⚡

As always, our keeper Leah with exceptional goalkeeping and creating so many chances for our forwards straight from her throws. A massive team performance, unreal effort from every single player, and the perfect way to start 2026. 💅⚽🔥
